Susan Kurtz is a dedicated collaborative practice
lawyer, a highly skilled mediator, a radio talk show
host and a writer. Susan has been providing sound legal
resolutions from her Nelson, British Columbia office
since 1993. Susan Kurtz believes in the value of
preserving the strength of the community by providing a
peaceful, fair and respectful way for individuals and
groups to resolve legal disputes. Susan firmly believes
that compassion, kindness and love need to be applied to
conflict in relationships in order to bring about
healthy, fair resolutions. Susan is a yoga teacher
and a Member of both the British Columbia and the
Alberta Bars.

Danny Zack has more than 30 years of experience as a
BC Lawyer, having practiced in the Lower Mainland since
1974. Danny has coined the phrase, "Why litigate when you
can collaborate?" Danny is prepared to travel regularly to Nelson
in order to further his collaborative law practice and
assist Kootenay residents in resolving matrimonial
disputes.
Danny joined the Collaborative Law Group of The Kootenays so that Kootenay residents have the option of enlisting a lawyer
from Vancouver onto their local team for those who wish to
engage a collaborative lawyer from out of the Nelson area.

Robert Klassen is
the Founder, Past Chair, and current Treasurer of the
Victoria Collaborative Family Law Group. He aims to

Eric Watson
has been a Family Law Mediator since 1985 and became a
Collaborative Family Law Practitioner in 1999. He has
taken several advanced courses in Collaborative Family
Law since then. In 2000 Eric was the founder of the
Collaborative Family Law Practice Group in Nelson and
served as its co-chair until he moved to Kelowna in
2003. Eric is dedicated to assisting clients in
restructuring their lives and families and financial
arrangements, and in moving forward into new beginnings.
